Special offer on entry level FO/ EOD L2 & EOD L3 courses in April and May 2012

FO2-1-12 course only (16th April – 11th May 2012)

The normal course fee is €5,250. However, if you book a place on the FO2-1-12 course within the next two weeks (by 2nd March, 2012), we will offer you a 5% discount on that price (amounting to a course fee of €4,987.50). However, if you also pay your full course fee during that period, to confirm your booked place (it would normally be due by 16th March anyway), we will offer you a further 5% discount, meaning the course would cost you €4,725.00 – a considerable saving.

EOD3-1-12 course only (14th May – 8th June 2012)

The normal course fee is €6,250. However, if you book a place on the EOD3-1-12 course within the next two weeks (by 2nd March, 2012), we will offer you a 5% discount (amounting to a course fee of €5,937.50). However, if you also pay your full course fee during that period, to confirm your booked place (it would normally be due by 14th April), we will offer you a further 5% discount, meaning the course would cost you €5,625.00 – again, a considerable saving.

FO2-1-12 & EOD3-1-12 courses (16th April – 8th June 2012)

We already discount the course fee for those people wishing to attend both courses consecutively (€11,000.00 total fee). However, should you choose to attend both courses and book a place on both within the next two weeks (by 2nd March, 2012), we will further discount the price by 5%, namely €10,450.00. Again, should you also pay the full course fee during the next two weeks, to confirm your booked places, we will offer you a further 5% discount, meaning both courses would cost you €9,900.00 – a real bargain!

MAT Mondial’s specialist K9s go operational for two clients in two continents simultaneously

MAT Mondial, PAX Mondial’s EOD, De-mining and K9 Division, is pleased to report that its specialist K9 Detection Dog Groups have deployed to, and commenced operations in, Southern Sudan (Mine Detection Dogs) and in the south of Iraq (Explosive Detection Dogs). Both projects were operational on time and to the clients’ complete satisfaction.

MAT Mondial’s EOD & De-mining School provides dedicated training to ICRC and a UK police force

MAT Mondial was contracted by the ICRC to train its regional mine action advisors. The training took place at the MAT Mondial EOD & de-mining School in Kosovo, over an intense 3-week period. The bespoke training package was developed to the client’s needs and included humanitarian imperatives for mine action, EOD to intermediate level and quality control and quality management of national mine action programmes. During this same period MAT Mondial was contracted by a UK police force to train its bomb disposal team in up-to-date techniques for managing and planning incidents, tasking assets and dealing with a myriad of ordnance and ammunition abandoned from WW2. This training, at the clients request, also featured training the police specialist personnel in reacting and responding to incidents to counter the improvised explosive device threat – the use of C-IED weapons and dealing with chemical, radiological, biological and nuclear devices. At the request of the client the training was held in the UK.
